Fenders
High quality, one piece 14ga stamped steel construction for high strength. This fender radius fits great with tall side wall vintage style 16" rear tires (see SKU #115-0002, #115-0003, #115-0004 for tires) as well as 18" and 19" rear tires. Fender is 5" Wide, 28 3/4" from tip to tip, and just under 13" tall overall. The timeless, classic look of these fenders are very similar to Wassell style British fenders produced back in the 1960's, except these are brand new, and thicker material for increased strength!

Brit-Style Ribbed Chopper
Fenders for Harley, Triumph, BSA, Honda, Yamaha
We couldn't find anybody making quality, thick, 1-piece ribbed
fenders; so we started making them. All fenders are handmade to order
and take 2-5 weeks to produce. There are other ribbed ducktail fenders out there, but check the thickness. Most aluminum are .060"
thick; most steel are .035" or less and stamped from who knows where.
Weight is an important factor on any moving vehicle. Most older bikes are a little light on the horsepower to begin with. Taking weight off
of a bike will improve it's performance. Our aluminum fenders are less than half the weight of the comparable .090" thick steel fenders.
This is a easy, inexpensive way to take off 2-3 lbs and add to the look of your bike.
Because mounting the fender is just as important as the fender itself (and we can't control how you mount our fender), we cannot
recommend our fenders for passenger use.
How To Choose the Right Size
Rear Fender
There are vintage tires and modern style tires. The
vintage tires almost always are described using the inch method. 5.00-16 for
example. The Coker Classic, Firestone Deluxe Champion, and Avon MKII are examples of vintage style tires. These tires have a taller
sidewall and therefore a bigger diameter than the modern style tires. Modern style tires are almost always describe using the metric
method. 130/90-16 for example. This is a little more standardized than the inch method. Most metric sized tires will be pretty close to
one another brand to brand. The vintage tires can be the same "size" but can be completely different from brand to brand.
